Join SIAC as we co-sponsor in partnernship with The Sisterhood and other Staten Island based organizations, CareerCon 2018 on Monday, February 26, 8AM-1PM at St. John's University (300 Howard Ave., SI, NY 10301). This "innovative career fair introduces students to various career pathways, while also giving Staten Island business owners and hiring managers an opportunity to foster partnerships that can develop into work-based learning opportunities, including career talks, job shadowing programs, and internships!"
SIAC President, Renee Jenkins will be facilitating "Building your Brand: Crafting an Elevator Pitch" workshop and SIAC Treasurer, Karen Alexander will be facilitating "LinkedIn and Networking: Mastering the Art of Connecting and Communication to Build Meaningful Relationships with Influencers" workshop. SIAC will also be distributing applications for our Melody Scott-Decuir College Scholarship.

Staten Island Alumnae Chapter welcomes all visiting members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. to our chapter meetings held on the second Saturday of every month at 10am. Chapter members and visiting Deltas are required to wear appropriate business attire. All visiting sorors must provide an official membership card of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and complete the membership verification form prior to attending the meeting. Please email the chapter at firstname.lastname@example.org for the meeting location and to request the membership verification form.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is a, non-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world. Founded on January 13, 1913 by twenty-two collegiate women at Howard University, the Sorority is currently a sisterhood of more than 200,000 predominately Black college educated women. This includes over 900 chapters located in the United States, England, Japan (Tokyo and Okinawa), Germany, the Virgin Islands, Bermuda, the Bahamas, and the Republic of Korea. The major programs of the sorority are based upon the organization’s Five-Point Programmatic Thrust:
Staten Island Alumnae Chapter (SIAC) was chartered on January 20, 1996 by 23 members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Affectionately known in New York as the "little chapter with the big heart," we are committed to serving the Staten Island community at large, with an intentional focus on the youth. In realizing our mission, we provide an extensive array of public service initiatives through the Sorority's Five-Point Programmatic Thrust.
